Description: Meter for an RCA Model WV-77E VTVM, part number 022361. (Selling the meter only, not the whole VTVM). Meter is in good, clean condition with properly damped needle movement. Meter was in use in a VTVM that developed power supply problem so I parted out the VTVM. Unfortunately the VTVM had taken a nasty fall at some point prior to my buying it so I tolerated the crack in the plastic meter face until the power supply problem surfaced. To demonstrate this meter's integrity I connected it to a 1.5 volt battery in series with a milliammeter, 10K potentiometer and a 300 ohm resistor. I then adjusted the potentiometer to move the WV-77E meter needle to full scale. At that indication you can read on the Triplett meter in the photo that the RCA meter is a 40 ma full scale meter. The meter face is 4 5/8-inches wide by 4 3/16-inches high. The connection posts are 1.5-inches apart. The four mounting screws are 4-inches apart horizontally and 3 1/2-inches apart vertically. If the meter doesn't work as represented, of course, I will refund your money.
