Description: VINTAGE RAYMOND WAITES EMPIRE CANDLE STANDPALM TREE MOTIF - BRITISH COLONIAL STYLE This is a late 1990s candle stand from the Empire Collection by Raymond Waites. You would set a pillar candle on top of the stand-- up to 3" diameter-- as I demonstrate in the photos. Ceramic with fired glaze, the stand celebrates the British Colonial style that you would see in any of the tropics-- from the Caribbean to the South Pacific, from Singapore to St. Lucia. Looks great with-- or without-- and candle on the stand. Ideal for Coastal or Traditional interior decor, inspired by the best in British design! Measurements:9" H x 5 1/4" W at the palm fronds; 3 1/2" W at the square base. The candle stand by itself weighs 15.2 oz. As a BONUS, I'm including the 6 inch fluted pillar candle (used) shown in the photos. I love the look, but you are not obligated to use it. Any height 3 in wide candle would look stunning as well! If you don't want me to include it in the package, let me know and I'll leave it out. Shipping would be the same either way as the stand alone with a box is over 1 lb.
