The glove does have some outer flaking ! But all that is no big deal because the glove is perfectly broken in and totally game ready ! The glove is very easy to use and it will work immediately ! The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove just wraps itself around a baseball and the 6th photo shows how the glove looks in the closed position without a ball in the pocket and the 8th and the 9th photos show how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball ( that’s in case you decided to use this glove for softball ) ! As far as fitting goes this glove is a tight fit on my average adult size hand ! The inner lining as the mitt is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! The laces are all very very good and very strong ! I don't see any ink or marker anywhere o this glove ! You will not be disappointed with this glove !
