Description: Very rare Swiss chronograph pocket watch made by the famous Swiss watch company (later know as TAG HEUER) HEUER-LEONIDAS. This watch has been manufactured around 1960's. The movement is in working condition. It is equiped with the Calibre Valjoux 93 similar to Valjoux 76 R and it is marked on the plate under the balance R 93. The Swiss made 17 jewels unadjusted movement has a winding mechanism through the crown at twelve. The multi colour dial(black central dial, black sub dials and white with red markers / numerals the outter ring) is in excellent condition with white arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock, 30 minute chrono register at 12 o'clock, and military / dash bord type hands, the cuvette (metal cap) is silver plated and show signs of ware. The black and gray painting is in perfect condition on the case and first cap. It can be read on the inner cap: HEUER - LEONIDAS SA, SWISS and serial 129133. Diameter of the watch excluding the crown is ~65 MM. Dial and casing show the HEUER/ (and HEUER - LEONIDAS) signature and so does the movement. This is a RATTRAPANTE Chronograph.
