Description: Up for auction is a very rare vintage Kellogg's Ceral large cloth advertising banner measuring about 48" X 23.5" titled "Eat PEP It Peps You Up" printed by Grinnell Litho Co. Inc N.Y. What I find interesting is that the banner is Intialed K in pen. I believe it's possible this Intial might be from Mr. W.K. Kellogg's himself for approval. It might take some research to see if this is how he initialed work for approval. Again, this is speculation on my part, but it's worth looking into. These advertising banners for Kellogg's are very hard to find. If you do find them, they are never in this good of condition. As you can see, this one doesn't have any serious problems. Looks like it might have a very small patch on the very bottom. See pictures. You'll be able to save money since it's already nicely framed and ready to hang. I believe this banner dates back to the 1920s, but not 100% sure If you're a ceral collector, this is one you're not going to want to miss. Please ask me any questions before bidding.
