Basic Information: VINTAGE Harvey Berin/Karen Stark beaded rhinestone gemstone Belted Gown, CONTEMPORARY. Please review my measurements carefully; the top of dress and zipper sleeves are quite fitted (the gown was custom made— there is no original size indicated). This brilliant 1950s Harvey Berin by Karen Stark gown is a formal, lovely, intricately designed in EXCELLENT vintage condition. Acquired from an estate sale. The dress has a tasteful high neck collar. It is a full length gown with zipper entry, zipper cuff closures, hidden side-seam pockets, fully lined in turquoise silk, with padded soil protection in armpits. The wide gemstone designer belt is included. After careful review I cannot find any missing beads which is amazing and very unusual for the age of this custom made dress.as shown in the photo gallery. The dress was at most possibly worn 1-2 times on formal occasion and has been kept in storage. It is from a smoke-free home. This is truly an amazing dress, by a world famous Vogue dress maker and designer CUSTOM MADE DRESS ACCENTS: Intricately Designed Rhinestone belt(approx. 27"), various size gemstones M(Medium), S(Small). Must use magnification to really see intricacy. Belt is approx. 2" wide, 10 row rhinestone design pattern: MSS MSS MSS M Center front has a 1" round rhinestone brooch, attached two 3" long strings of 4 round rhinestone balls(10 M each) each ball separated by very small rhinestone cylinder spacer BEST EST. BELT HAS at least 800 TOTAL RHINESTONE GEMSTONES MEASUREMENTS WHILE LAYING FLAT(as accurate as possible) Dress Total length 52.5" Two Sections: 17" Velveteen top(top of collar to waist), with 1.5" wide neck collar 35.5" Rayon blend bottom(waste to bottom hem) Zipper back Armpit to Armpit is 17" Sleeve Length 22" Bust 17" Silk lining POSSIBLE TO ALTER DRESS TO ADJUST SIZES IF CREATIVE Great vintage condition no wear to note.
