Description: RARE Vintage 40s FOLK ART Painted Wood CHRISTMAS VILLAGE PUTZ House Cottage #1 This is a beautifully made OOAK Folk Art Christmas House or Folk Art House Model. It is wonderfully and colorfully painted in the following: Reddish Hues on Roof, Yellow and. Green Trim. This house has a lot going for it. The colors, the quality, the form, the design, the condition, etc. It has a pieced wood roof which is meant to look like a clay tile roof. It is painted in a reddish orange or clay like color and shaped and pieced like a real clay tile roof would be done- it is made of wood pieces that are shaped like clay tiles. There is a Copper Eave on one of the areas and some Copper attachments over the windows possibly meant to hold flower pots. The design is very pleasing and it is very well made. A really neat piece of Folk Art. It had an area where a light fixture/bulb was fitted in to help illuminate this House for the holidays etc. We will include that but it must be rewired if you plan on using it as the cord is old and not suitable as found. Probably made in Central PA. Please see all photos for your review of condition and for all of the details. It is a larger size and will need to be in a large box to protect it during shipment. It measures approx 10.5" Wide at widest and 9" Tall at tallest and 9.5" Deep
