Description: This is a beautiful, stiff, very lightly handled and well-preserved pair of 1910 era JACK JOHNSON T218 Boxing cards [front view and side view], both are Hassan tobacco cards in thick, hard protective cases – acquired from a several generation Pennsylvania estate. The cards are extremely nice, the colors are deep and strong with the richness of 110 year old color printing when it has been protected and undisturbed. The cards are really nicely centered - the backs with detailed stats are just as nice. I have had many cards graded but the time and expense is becoming burdensome - after discussing these cards with a friend closely connected to JSA, he agreed that, if graded, these would come back at least with grades of 4 to 4.5 and possibly even better .
