Description: New, unopened in the original box. Wee Forest Folk Limited Edition M-309b - Pedal Plane Year of the Dragon This Lunar New Year is the Year of the Dragon! Those born under the dragon sign are said to be ambitious, confident, and charismatic. This tiny mouse in his aviator cap and goggles sits in a pinkish orange / coral color pedal plane painted like a dragon with fangs and other tiny details. Only 195 were made. Sculpted by Willy Petersen. Dimensions approximate 1.5" x 2.0". The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
