IT SOLD FOR $513 at Miller & Miller Auction Ltd in 2020 and $696 with auction premiums. This had a driver but also appeared to have been painted w/newer tires. We used this as a reference, as most buyers don't have pay sites with sales records of rare items. Just Reduced! Super sharp authentic Arcade MFG Co Red Baby International Harvester fixed flat bed pickup truck. Arcade made these with both steel and rubber wheels with this being rubber as shown in pictures. We have seen these dated both 1923 and 1926-1931 so we are not 100% sure on DOM. These fixed flat bed models are much rarer than the dump bed trucks from the same era from our research, as kids liked the dumping bed action (or their dad's did, just saying). The truck is made of a heavy cast or solid metal and attracts firmly to a magnet. The wheels appear to be made of a lighter cast metal and not as attracted to magnet (so maybe aluminum or other). The tires are rubber. This really looks great, but of course it has been repainted with new decals and rubber tires. The tires have been on for a while as they have a few small flatter areas from sitting but they are still quite rubbery and not dried out (they are marked Goodrich Heavy Duty Cord). The metal on truck looks pretty nice and smooth, without heavy pitting or other and the collector who owned the piece may have had it professionally restored as it looks that nice. We saw one small flaw where there is a crack near back axle. There is no movement in it and it may have been repaired at some point, but its pretty firm and hard to notice. We found another repaint of this model that looked nearly identical (but had the driver) and it sold for over $500 in June 2020. but we are pricing far under that due to missing driver and minor flaw as noted.
