The SMITH & WESSON Model 1500 rifle was built by HOWA in Japan for only two years, from 1983 to 1984. They are rather rare, and were well made. Barrel may also fit HOWA 1500, MOSSBERG 1500, or Weatherby Vanguard model rifles. Check with your Gunsmith to confirm fit with your gun BEFORE purchasing this barrel! Bore rifling is excellent. Measures .623" at the muzzle, and .1.135" at the breech end. Weight is 2 lbs., 6 ozs. Will require fitting and installation by a professional, qualified, trained, gunsmith, and NO, I do NOT mean your cousin Bubba who also fixes washing machines!!!
