I purchased this really nice looking Athearn custom painted limited edition HO car kit at the 1994 Pacific Coast Region NMRA Event. This custom painting recognizes the 50th Anniversary of the PCR-NMRA back in 1994. I had intended to run this car on a planned layout that never got built. For 30 years this unassembled kit in its box has been stored on a closet shelf in my smoke free home. The kit and box are in excellent, brand new condition. The small parts are still in their unopened envelope. Instructions are included, too. Note that where a label should be on this Athearn box it is blank. That's how these were sold at the Event. BONUS! - I will also include with this HO kit two of the set of PAPER car slides for a R-40-10 steel reefer with special decoration that also recgnizes the PCR-NMRA's 50th Anniversary.
