Description: These antique, rare, vintage, skis are solid wood with a single toe piece. They were manufactured without any edges and are 67.5 inches long. Sold by Sears Roebuck using the JC Higgins Sporting Goods brand according to the original labels on the skis. Made by the Gregg Manufacturing Company of Saint Paul, MN. Original leather strap. Made between 1908 when the JC Higgins brand was first sold and 1928 when steel edges were introduced. Great for display in a game room, ski lodge, among an antique collection, etc. Approximately 100 years old. Due to their short length, they might have been children's skis. I don't know anywhere else that you will be able to find these skis. Note: Toe bindings were removed to facilitate shipping and will be enclosed in the package along with their 8 screws (see photo). They are very easy to reinstall with just a flat-edged screw driver.
