Description: VERY RARE Antique 1860 BRADY/ANTHONY Stereo View Photo Card, July 4, 1860 Parade, Infantry Company!!! DESCRIPTION: This is another very nice early antique stereo view photo picture card. MADE TO BE USED WITH AN ANTIQUE STEREOPTICAN 3-D DEVICE, THE TYPE THAT WAS SO POPULAR BACK THEN. BEST PART ABOUT THIS, BESIDES ITS EARLY 1860 DATE, IS THAT IT WAS PUBLISHED BY THE FAMOUS E. & H. T. ANTHONY CO. Anthony was associated with Matthew Brady and his items are very rare and always command a significant premium. This one has a great depiction of the scene, IN GREAT DETAIL. On the reverse it says "Fourth of July in and about NEW YORK....A company of Infantry marching through Chambers St., July 4th, 1860". Just think, many of these same soldiers would FIGHT IN THE CIVIL WAR IN JUST A YEAR OR 2 AFTER THIS WAS TAKEN.Condition is excellent. BOTH ANTHONY & A GREAT MILITARY PHOTO IN ONE ITEM!!! SIZE/CONDITION: Standard 3 1/2" x 7" size. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!! SHIPPING TERMS: Buyer pays $6 shipping in the US.
