Description: Rare 1960's Mies Van Der Rohe Knoll International Brown Leather Three Seat Sofa Click on image to enlarge Listed for sale is a gorgeous Model No. 263 three-seater sofa, designed by Mies Van Der Rohe and produced by Knoll International. These pieces were produced in the late 1960's to early 1970's for a limited time and at great expense. Mies Van Der Rohe designed the piece during the 1930's, though it was not produced until much later. This example has walnut legs with brown leather upholstery. The upholstery is supple and high quality. There is some wear to the leather, though the buttons appear to be in generally nice shape and upholstery overall looks quite good. The walnut legs have some small veneer chips in the back, though they are difficult to see and easily touched up. The sofa has some wear and a lovely patina. For a vintage example, it shows beautifully. The sofa measures 95.5 in x 31 in x 36 in.
