Description: Offered is a Rare vintage 1943 Advertising Postcard (dated by # in stamp box) featuring an Aerial View of the Petroleum Refinery located at Laurel, Montana owed by the Farmers Union Central Exchange of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The "Modern Refinery", with Dubbs Cracking Unit, Selective Polymerization Plant, and Vacuum Asphalt Plant could process up to 7,000 Barrels of Crude Oil per Day. * PC is New Old Stock, essentially in 'new", Mint Condition ... slightest age toning to verso. This postcard is from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived collection found its permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
