Description: Rare March 31, April 1 & 2, 1933 Philadelphia Orchestra Academy of Music concert program with Nelson Eddy singing the role of Gurnemanz in the Opera Parsifal by Wagner. Shortly before appearing in this opera Nelson Eddy was "discovered" by Hollywood when he substituted at a concert in Los Angeles on February 28, 1933 which launched his Hollywood career.The program is in excellent over-all condition with the covers having a little bit of age toned discoloration.
