Description: This auction is for an extremely rare Lenci doll representing Charlie Chaplin. He has his hat and cane and suspenders. To my knowledge, there is only one other known Chaplin Lenci—-that was sold in the Sydney Sheldon collection in 2012. That one was missing the cane and suspenders. This doll is all original. 13 inches tall to top of hat. He was part of the winker series from the 1920s. Overall, he is in great condition. He could stand to be cleaned, but I will leave that to the new owner. He has one moth hole behind his ear and a moth nibble on his lower cheek.
