Chakan was created by me, RAK (Robert A Kraus) in the mid 1980s and eventually became a best selling line of books, a video game, and an action figure, this book has his origin in verse form! This book is 8.5"x5.5" (ash can/digest size) and are signed by 5 different creators!. Each book also includes a signed 5"x7" signed print, and a certificate of authenticity - also signed! So ya get a book, a print, a COS all autographed with each book ya order! A super deal. All come bagged and boarded (see photos)! The year was 1987, my publishing company produced a digest/ashcan sized book limited to 2000 copies and featuring key stories and unique offerings from our comic book line, and featuring great talented friends works! It featured a prequel story to Thundermace #1, the first meeting of Buce and Gar, the story of how Stephen Darklords world came to be, and a poetic origin story for Chakan, etc. the book was signed by all 5 contributors!!! well, very cool that i stumbled onto about 12 of these in great condition as i was going thru some old boxes! Great memories of working to do something a bit different in the world, i learned so much and changed my life! Nwver would i have guessed what i would accomplish way back then!
