Description: The item for sale is a reproduction of an etching by the popular artist R. M. Palenske that was made around the middle of the twentieth century. Palenske was a prolific artist who produced etchings of western scenes, animals and cowboys. Reproductions of his etchings were sold in sets that were given as gifts. The process for making the prints was called Talio-Crome. The print depicts a group of men on horseback stopping for a group of geese crossing in front of them. The print has a facsimile signature and title. The print was matted and framed at one time. The edges of the sheet are a little dark. There are a few light spots. The image area has a very minor spot or two near the plate mark. There is a small crease center top of the image. The plate mark size is 7 1/2" x 10 1/2". The sheet size is 14" x 11".
