Description: Beautiful reprint from an original of the R. C. Gorman "Zia". Navajo Gallery - Taos, New Mexico. Beautiful, colorful, detailed print of a Navajo woman sitting in in the desert sand beside with a navajo pot. Earthtone colors are beautiful and detail is wonderful. R.C. Gorman has been called the "Picaqsso of the Southwest." His style is uninhibited and free flowing with a color sense that captivates the eye of the beholder. Sadly R. C. Gorman passed away in November 2005 at the age of 74. When once asked how he would like to be remembered, he replied "That I was a hard worker and that I cared about People." Framed in a 8 x 10" solid oak frame with glass with double mat to pull out the colors of the print.. Actual Print is 5 1/2 x 4 1/2". Great addition to your R.C. Gorman collection. NOTE: FRAME HAS GLASS BUT HAS BEEN REMOVED TO PREVENT GLARE. PRINT CAN BE FRAMED IN SOLID OAK OR SOLID BLACK WOOD UPON REQUEST CHECK MY LISTINGS FOR OTHER ZIA PRINTS click here for other great Gorman prints click for other great Jewelry, southwestern Designs
