This motor features a coreless armature which is extremely smooth and quiet running. There is no cogging effect from this style of armature. None of the extras that are seen in the photographs are part of the sale. This is only being sold as a gear motor without an encoder. It does have an encoder but I have no way of testing it. Use leads number 1 and 4 on the ribbon cable to power the motor. Please only buy as a gear motor and ignore the encoder. both motors are the same even though they have a different 3 digit number on the case.
