Description: Scarce Set of 5 Different Purdy Dental Alcohol Lamps. All 5 glass lamps are in very good condition with NO cracks. They all have some glass imperfections and minor scratches which is normal for the period. All 5 include their wick holds. Sorry but NO caps or bases. Small plastic cups were used merely for the photos. PHOTO #2 - This LARGE SIZE lamp has ONLY the 1880 patent date embossed into the glass. NOTE the letters and date appear to be more of a script style, while the later versions with both dates have a more block style appearance. The early lamps with only one date are much rarer than the 2 date version. Almost 40:1 PHOTO #3 - This LARGE SIZE lamp has both the 1880 and the 1893 dates embossed into the glass PHOTO #4 - This SMALL SIZE lamp also has both the 1880 and 1893 dates embossed into the glass PHOTO #5 - This LARGE SIZE lamp has NO DATE embossed into the glass PHOTO #6 - This SMALL SIZE lamp has NO DATE embossed into the glass This is a great chance to have 5 varieties of the Purdy Lamps.
