Description: For sale is a used Proficient XM3 subwoofer amplifier. I tested this device as best I could: I used a speaker as a stand in for the subwoofer output, and was able to drive it with audio via the speaker input and via the line input. All of the knobs and switches had an impact on the sound, and they appeared to work the way I expected them to work, but I cannot verify that they are fully functionally correct. I didn’t hear any odd pops or scratches while I was turning knobs or flipping switches. I tested the line input output, and was able to routed the line input through the line output. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a subwoofer input, wasn’t able to test this device perfectly. The device is an acceptable cosmetic condition. It is missing some screws on each side, and there are some scuffs and scratches on the unit. Please refer to the pictures to get a better idea of the cosmetic condition. Due to the missing screws, and the fact that I cannot fully test this unit to my satisfaction, I’ve listed it as for parts or repair. No returns will be accepted. You will receive just the device, without a power cable. It needs a standard two-prong audio equipment power cable, or you can just use a standard computer power supply cable. Thanks for looking!
