Description: This vintage Hunter table fan has been fully refurbished mechanically and electrically. I've stripped off two messy coats of paint to discover the base and motor housing in their original gun metal / nickel metal glory. I find the fan very attractive as it is but it would be a relatively simple matter to paint the fan to match your decor or your particular taste. All components are original except that the power cord was upgraded to a heavy grade 9 foot cord and I've re-wired the stator with new "vintage style" wiring. The original switch works perfectly in all four positions. I've installed new felt under the base and the blades were re-balanced. The entire fan has been lubricated and I've cleaned and re-packed the gearbox. The fan runs perfectly in all three speeds and oscillates as it should. The fan runs quietly and smoothly. This is a prized collectible vintage fan by the "Hunter Fan and Ventilating Company" of Memphis, Tennessee. I've seen this model offered for $200 to $400 and some are even asking over $1,000 (but I doubt they will get it). It is 110-120 Volts, 60 Cycles, 0.70 Amps. Catalogue #265, Type C-16. It stands 21 3/4 inches high and is 19 inches wide. The blades are 16 inches in diameter. I will ship the fan with the blade assembly and cage removed.
