Four different poses of a young woman at the popular resort and hot springs destination of Glenwood Hot Springs, an early resort and tourist destination on early settler property at confluence of Roaring Fork and Grand Rivers. Known and used earlier by the Ute people, it became in the 1880s a popular place to vacation. It drew numerous celebrities & criminals (from Doc Holliday to President Theodore Roosevelt to [later] Al Capone and Ted Bundy), after it was made accessible with the advent of the railroad. The block of stamps measures 5 1/4" x 5". Unused stamps; light wear along edges of perforation. Domestic buyer pays $4.13 S&H.
