Super Slide springs incorporate moly-nylon buttons that reside in die-formed pockets at the tips of the spring leave. Replace your 50 year old stock springs with these new, computer-designed leaf springs for a much smoother ride. Factory spec spring eye bushings come with springs. Shackles, shackle bolts and U-bolts sold separately. For use with the original 1947-54 Chevy rear axle as these are not applicable to be used with a newer model rear axle assembly. Note: For use with stock axle. My 1954 V-8 Chevy 3100 pickup sits & rides fine. Rated by Mr "D" on September 28, 2019 Summary: 30 years ago when I converted from a closed drive line to an open I set up my rear-end housing mounting to allow for the offset thus not needing to change the springs. Well after several years of running the modified 235 cu in six cylinder with a Muncie 4-speed I converted to a SBC 327 and a turbo 400. When I retired a few years ago I started another idea with the pickup and built a mild 340 hp 327 with tri-power & borg warner t-5 speed. In this process I installed new Posie super slide in the front along with power disc brakes and power steering thus keeping the original axle. When measuring for the drive shaft I took a good look at the rear springs which were very tired so the posie super slides were ordered for the rear. I was going to use the same rear-end with my modified mountings, I didnt need the posie offsets. They worked well together. Thank You Speedway Yes, I recommend this product.
