Description: This polaroid Automatic 215 is an instant pack camera with manual focus and parallax compensation. Exposure is automatic, but you can vary it between black and white and color. It has normal wear that an item of this vintage would have. Fuji makes film for it (FP-100c) and it takes wonderful medium format images. It has been converted to aaa batteries from the original batteries that are hard to find and expensive. If you are into the instant vintage look of Lomography, Holgas, or any plastic cameras, you will love the results of shooting with this camera. It is like stepping back in time when you shoot with it! Of note is a funny way of focusing using the rangefinder. There is a distance indicator in the single rangefinder, so if you are good at guessing distance that will work. What is kind of strange is a set of pointers that you adjust to pinch the head of the person(line up with chin and hairline). When you have that dialed in, you have the distance. As you can imagine, this does not allow for odd sized heads. This camera has been completely tested and works well! Why buy from me? All of my cameras are thoroughly cleaned, tested, and inspected. They are good looking, but more importantly- they work! My cameras are ready to shoot! I really love Polariod cameras, but I am not interested in them if they are not 100 percent functional. It is true that you could be the lowest bidder on a camera that is not fully tested (all of mine are fully tested), but there is a risk involved. You can do great things with Fuji film, but you don’t want to waste film on a non-working camera. Look at the pictures closely- this is the camera you will get. This one is a custom butter squash yellow- a beautiful one of a kind! UPDATE: Take advantage of this opportunity to shoot with some of the best Polaroids ever made! Fuji just announced that they will be discontinuing their pack film, and remaining inventory will be sold off. Based on the availability of old polaroid film and other discontinued film, I am certain that if you want to shoot with packfilm you still have years left. I intend to shoot pack film up until the end of this decade! Just refrigerate the film as soon as you get it and look for deals online. It is still a better deal than Impossible film, and a higher quality image! Also, Supersense is going to start making it!Note: I put 10 business days handling on my custom camera backs because I make them to order. I often come in at earlier than that time, but sometimes I experience a lot of orders(not complaining!), so I will likely need a lot of that time to get it built and shipped to you. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding! Aaron
