Description: Rare circa 1909 (no copyright date on verso of title pages but a similar set of green cloth covered essays says 1909) HC edition in a SET of volumes I, II, and III in VG condition for books of their age; green cloth with gilt lettering and decorations; some shelf wear at corners and top/bottom of spine; book plates from past owner inside front covers; vol I has small break at the top of the back inside cover fly, but all text boxes are for the most part tight and secure; vol 1 has a very small stain on the front cover; some minor staining at the bottom of vol II & III text boxes; mild tanning of pages; in general, a hard-to-find antique collection in nice condition.
