Description: Pittsburgh Arts Crafts Antique Reverse Painted Lamp Handel Bradley Hubbard Era There is no 25-30% buyers premium on top of this sale as you would have to pay at an auction these days. That's huge overall savings folks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other ebay lighting auctions as well. I have for sale this very nice Pittsburgh Lamp And Brass Co. arts and crafts style reverse painted lamp. This is lamp is called “the continuous wave” and its in excellent original condition. It’s certainly not a commonly seen Pittsburgh lamp and no other period makers made a similar style lamp so If you want something your neighbor doesn’t have this will probably serve that purpose. Perfect for a beach house on the ocean especially with the coloration in the shade. It’s period 1900-1925 and not a reproduction. No chips, cracks, paint loss, no damage in the shade as might be would be expected for lamp 100+ years old. It measures 22 inches tall as pictured and the shade is 17 inches wide. The lamp is in fine working order. No dents, dings, nor damage of any sort on the base. The base in very nice original patina throughout. The lamp also in fine working order. The sockets working and they pull very smooth. The base also recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. It has a really nice warm look and is perfect for an arts and crafts style room or home. Again, this is not a common lamp and your buying it without a 25-30% auction house buyers premium. Thanks for looking and please check out my other ebay lighting sales. I have about 50 lamps up currently. Due to the high costs of shipping we are going to post a shipping cost for the Eastern time zone that applies to only the Eastern time zone. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows: Central Time Zone Add: 15% Mountain Time Zone Add: 25% Pacific Time Zone Add: 35% Please know that my shipping costs are typically cheaper than other ebay sellers and we pack better than 98% of them because we ship out a hundred lamps a year or more compared to just a few for the others. Remember folks no 20-30% auction buyers premium here on this auction like the auction houses of today are getting. I have a very large inventory and only select items make it on to our ebay listings. If interested in knowing more 📧 tag [at] tagstickets. com If the winning bidder is from the Northeast I would like to try and get this delivered by one of my employees if possible. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Horseheads ny to Detroit mi, Detroit mi to Chicago il, Chicago il to Indianapolis In to Cincinnati oh, Cincinnati oh to Pittsburgh pa, Pittsburgh to Washington dc, Washington dc to manhattan ny, manhattan ny to boston ma, boston ma to Albany ny, Albany ny to buffalo ny. If this option is something you would like to discuss, email me, and if there is a shipping amount posted on the listing, we would honor that dollar amount and not go over it so it doesn’t cost you any further money. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS Bidders please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another ebay seller's product. ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with. Thanks for your understanding.
