Description: This is a 1963-64 Topps hockey card of the New York Rangers' Phil Goyette, with an action black and white photo of the Detroit Red Wing Hall of Famer, Gordie Howe, #58 in the set of 66 cards. The card was made by the Topps Gum Company and printed in Canada at the O-Pee-Chee plant in London, Ontario. The text on the reverse is both in English and French. The card was sent to PSA for authentication and encapsulation/grading. It was authenticated and its grade is VG-EX 4.5+ (Very Good-Excellent, 4.5), and the Authentication number is 73274108. Mr. Goyette played in the NHL from 1956-1972 and was on the Montreal Canadiens' team that won four Stanley Cups, 1957, 1958, 1959, and 1960. Gordon "Gordie" Howe, 1928-2016, was "Mr. Hockey", "Number 9", a Canadian hockey player who was beloved in Detroit and throughout the hockey world. From 1946 to 1980, he played for twenty-six seasons in the National Hockey League and then six seasons in the World Hockey Association. His first twenty-five seasons were with the Detroit Red Wings, he was a twenty-three time All Star, he won the Stanley Cup four times with the Red Wings and was a six-time winner of the Hart Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player.
