The best history that we have on these rare 500-series pipes is that they were released in the 1980's to a few retailers and showed up for a short period years later. This particular pipe is in fantastic shape - literally 'lightly smoked' (by definition, not seller fantasy :)). There is a small fill area on the top stem-side of the bowl. No stem chatter at all. The period-correct box and sleeve are for a Kapet from the mid-1980's, but not original to this pipe. Pipe is clean, sanitized and ready to smoke. See pictures for condition - length on billiards is measured end-to-end. Length on bent pipes is measured from the tip of the stem straight across to the far end of the bowl. Thanks for looking!
