Definitely not aluminum though, it is much stronger, and NOT that graphite stuff that wears out. This wire is tough! Looks to have 2 layers of insulation, Outermost diameter of the cable measured around .26"/ 6.7mm and the inner layer of insulation about .15"/ 4mm diameter, and the inner conductors without squeezing caliper looked to be around .05"/ 1.3mm Bulk wire, connectors not included, although we can list some vintage clip on ends if interested.
