Description: As good as I can make out the dates, the hood is marked: PENNSYLVANIA LINESTHE ADAMS & WESTLAKE CO. NEW YORK CHICAGO PHILA. "ADLAKE" RELIABLE PATENTED SEPT 21 1897 MAY 5 1903 -2- PATS JAN 26 1909 NOV 28 1911 -2- PATS JULY 2 1912 April 1 1913 The globe has some minor chips on both rims and what looks like a hole below the P in PENNSYLVANIA but is not a hole. I believe it to have been an air bubble whose outer layer has broken away. It is now more like an indent in the glass. Globe is is embossed in raised letters: PENNSYLVANIA LINES The wick turner knob is marked; P&A MFG CO WATERBURY CONN MADE IN U.S.A. I believe the bulb to be quite old as the base is marked "120v JAPAN". The cord is 52" long and also marked "JAPAN". Turn the wick knob counter clockwise to turn it on. The carrying handle is somewhat misshapen. The only visible rust I found is a minimal surface amount under the hood.
