Description: Under the shadow of the legendary "El Grafico" magazine "Goles" was born in 1948, but its golden age was in the sixties. Its approach was decidedly different. It was on newsstands on Tuesdays, shortly after the first division soccer matches, at a cheaper price than El Gráfico, and printed in a very rustic sepia colored paper. It was presented on its cover as “La revista del fútbol argentino”, and years later changed to “La revista del deporte argentino”. What we have here is an extremely rare issue (from april 14, 1959) showing a very young Pele. The main article is about the millionaire offer Boca Juniors made at the time to sign the rising star (along with Didi). As we all know it was unsuccessful :-). Condition is fair to good. The backcover has water damage. Check pictures. Size of the magazine is 23cm. x 30cm.
