Paul Evans After The Hurricane 1961 Carlton 543 Bell Sound Disc Jockey Press VG+

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Paul Evans With The Sid Bass Orchestra and Chorus titled "After the Hurricane b/w Not Me", originally released in 1961 by Cameo Records as a promotional release, as printed on the labels "Disc Jockey Record Not For Sale". I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "Bell Sound" and "LW", indicating that the record was mastered at Bell Sound Studios, located in New York City, N.Y. before it was lacquered at Longwear Plating of Long Island City, New York, before this single was made. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and fine line hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this single between Very Good Plus and Excellent because of low level surface noise, none of which over-powers the instruments or the vocals. It plays all the way through without any skips, pops or lock-ups from start to finish. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection, especially a collector of rare promo 45's.
