Description: I inherited this photo from my great aunt, wife of Dr. Martin ten Hoor, Dean of the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. My aunt and uncle were lifetime personal friends of the Bryants. The hand-signed inscription by Coach Bryant reads, "To Martin ten Hoor with personal regardsPaul Bryant" It is not dated, but I believe it to be from the early to mid 60's, because the framing store sticker on the back lacks a ZIP code. The frame has a few nicks and the paper backing has a few small tears. The entire piece has been stored in a dark environment for decades, so the photo color is still quite good. The inscription shows some fading, but is legible. A one-of-a-kind historic piece which links two wonderful gentlemen, both with a lasting contribution to the University of Alabama!
