Panzercorps 1:72 T-34-85 PLA #433

Description: Panzercorps Armor PC7201 KMDB T-34-85 Display Model PLA, #433, China 1:72 Scale Length WidthKMDB T-34-85 3.25" 1.75" The T-34 was the mainstay of Soviet armoured forces throughout the second world war. Its general specifications remained nearly unchanged until late 1944, when it received a firepower upgrade with the introduction of the greatly improved T-34/85 variant. After the formation of the People's Republic of China (the PRC) in 1949, the Soviet Union sent many T-34-85s to the PRC's People's Liberation Army (the PLA). Although during decades of service time there were plenty of modifications that make some visual differences between original T-34-85 and the Chinese T-34-85, no single T-34-85 was actually produced in China. The production plan of the T-34-85 in China was ended soon after once the PRC received T-54A main battle tanks from the Soviet Union and began to build the Type 59 tank, which was a licensed production version. KMDB T-34-85 Designed to replace the Soviet BT-5, BT-7 and T-26 infantry tanks, the T-34 was produced between 1940 and 1958. The T-34 is often regarded as one of the most successful and most influential tanks of the era. It was WWII's most highly produced tank and history's second most highly produced tank. The T-34 had a powerful engine, wide tracks and heavy armor. It was continuously refined, and by 1944 had gained a more powerful 85mm gun and a superior three-man turret design. The success of the T-34 can be measured in part by its longevity-by 1996, T-34s were still serving in 27 nations around the world. Copyright 2003-2023 The Flying Mule, Inc.
