Antenna expands all the way up and is complete. No corrosion in the battery compartment. It works on the radio and the cassette player. Did not test the recording. The volume works but sound goes off when you start turning the volume knob. Soneone told me the knob needed to be cleaned. May be an easy fix but I'm not sure.
