Her first book, Sustaining Conflict: Apathy and Domination in Israel-Palestine, was awarded the 2017 Feminist and Womens Studies Association (UK & Ireland) Book Prize. Katie is the Executive Editor for Middle East Research and Information Project (MERIP).Ilan Pappe is the Director of the European Center for Palestine Studies at the University of Exeter, UK, and a senior fellow at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies in the University of Exeter.
