Description: Stunning pair of late 19th Century French opaline celadon green glass and bronze electrified oil lamps, c. 1880's. Lamps feature two lights with pull chains, bronze base and cap with brass oil vent and key fittings, adjustable shaft raising the lamp from 29" to 34" in total height. Lamps have been rewired, one with a clear cord, the other white. Measures 29" high to top of finial, 15" high to top of bronze cap, glass vases are 10" high, base is 5 7/8" wide. Lamps are in Excellent working order, there is a natural patina to the brass and bronze mounts from age, the porcelain base is free of nicks or fleabites. Shades not included.
