Description: Pair Framed Crewel Tea Sugar Canisters Flowers Set Embroidery Jiffy Stitchery 1980 Pair of framed Jiffy Stitchery crewel embroidery pieces depicting a tea and sugar canister set with various flowers including pansies, tiger lilies, and other vibrant colored leaves and small flowers. The vintage flower embroidery is stitched on a cream / off white background. Both crewel embroidery art pieces are framed in a Jiffy Stitchery frame with medium brown wood and gold details. Embroidery has been mounted on a soft background, stapled on the backing cardboard, covered with brown paper, and held into place in the back with tacks. This gives the pieces a rustic, handmade look. Please see photos for more details on condition and design. You can see clear tape and paint marks on the top / back of sugar piece. Both frames show signs of wear from handling and storage. Stitching is in good condition. There are possible signs of age discoloration on backing fabric or it may be the style of the fabric.
