Description: PAIR FACETED CANDLESTICKS OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE GEORGE III c1790 10 ½ Inches Dimensions: 265mm tall (10 ½ inches) Hallmarks: unmarked Condition: Dings, light dents, surface scratches and tarnishing. Warm copper tones bleeding through. Appears to be an old solder repair where the base meets the stem of one stick, fairly clean and not overly noticeable (see photo 9). Some yellowish residue on the base rim of the same stick, possibly old glue (see photo 10). Wear commensurate with age and use.
