Description: This auction is for a gorgeous standing vintage relic holder or reliquary. This standing brass reliquary measures about tall and wide. It is vintage but remains in fantastic condition. Very unique. We have never seen one like these before. It is solid, brass and heavy. Very nice. It belonged to Father Alessio parente friend and caretaker of St. Padre pio from 1960 to 1968. It once. Housed the first class relic of St. Francis of Assisi which was present during the days of Padre pio and since has housed a relic piece of St. Padre pio's glove. It is very special. This auction is just for the reliquary holder. There is no relic with it. Padre pio used to bless some of the friars of the Capuchin order with the relic of St. Francis of Assisi in this reliquary as St. Francis of Assisi was Padre pio's favorite Saint.
