Description: This vibrant cotton pieced stars stars quilt is hand pieced and machine quilted, with an unusually small scale and blue prairie point border.It measures 70" X 82" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with some age spotting and no wear. The hand quilting is superb, with close straight line and daisy designs quilted throughout at an even 8 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back is white, the hand stitched prairie point edge is blue, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Washington County, Ohio. This WELL EXECUTED vintage MASTERPIECE in UNUSED CONDITION is even more impressive in real life!
