Description: Offered is the vintage book "Our World in Space Atlas", published in 1962 by C. S. Hammond and Co. of Maplewood, New Jersey. The atlas, produced at the dawn of manned space flight, contains many color illustrations about the universe, galaxy, solar system, etc., several pages about space flight and the vehicles used, as well as futuristic prototypes. There are also many color maps as in a typical atlas as well as lists of rivers, mountains, etc. The book is approx. 12 1/2" x 9 5/8" and contains 50 pages. It is in good to very good condition. The picture hard cover has only light wear, mainly on the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The "data list" endpapers are clean I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the binding and relatively clean and clear. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
