Description: OTHELLO, Playbill, 08/64, Tour, Playhouse in the Park, Philadelphia, PA. The New York Shakespeare Festival production of the revival of the William Shakespeare play opened in NYC at the Delacorte Theatre on 07/08/64 and ran for only 25 performances. After the short tour, the production (with a slightly different cast) settled in at The Public Theatre's Martinique Theatre on 10/12/64 for a 209 performance run. The cast includes James Earl Jones, Julienne Marie, Mitchell Ryan, Sada Thompson, William Devane, James Antonio, Maury Cooper, Joan DeWeese, Herbert Nelson, John Rayner, Edward Setrakian, Leonard Hicks, Michael Prince, Dan Travanty, Jaime Sanchez and David Gale. Directed by Gladys Vaughan. The program is complete. This is NOT a reproduction!! Note: This is a regular Playbill size program.
