ITEM: Original WWI Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) of RIGA, LATVIA, 1917, mailed by GERMAN SOLDIER of 868 FIELD ARTILLERY BATTERY or BATTALION. This is one of several postcards I am listing that were written by various German soldiers from both the Eastern and Western Fronts and mailed to a Fraulein Emily Bode in Frankfurt am Main, Germany during World War I. Most were from a German of the 5th Battery, Field Artillery Regiment 219 on the Eastern Front during World War I. He at least passed through Warsaw, Poland and was at one point near Riga, Latvia. However, Emily Bode had many friends and/or relatives write to her during the war. See my other WWI postcards from this group. SORRY.
