This is of the USS Cape St. Elias. She was a C-1 class Cargo ship during WWII. This photo is dated 8-14-43. The back shows the original negative number and has the Maritime Museum stamp. This does have some flat double sided tape on the back. It was attached to a piece of paper that was falling apart. I got the paper removed, but the tape is still there, and some is still a bit sticky. This will come in the plastic sleeve you see in the pics.
