Description: Original rare EMPIRE apple box wrap/tissue. This tissue/wrap is from 1933-1938 back when each individual apple was wrapped in a tissue. I have been collecting apple wraps/tissues for over 20 years and this came from a collection started in the 1980s by avid apple box label collectors in Chelan, WA. This tissue with its star apple logo says "EMPIRE Canada Associated Growers of B.C. Ltd Vernon B.C." and "Eat more apples for health. Doctors, Dentists & Dietitians Recommend Apples". Tissue is approximately 9" x 9". Label is in good condition BUT IT HAS HANDLING MARKS & A DIAGONAL FOLD IN THE TOP - see photos as these tissues are fragile and easily marked when touched.
